“Oh god with a curved trunk, the large body whose aura is like a light of many suns, Please make my entire work obstacle-free, forever.” Ganesa and Ganesh, often also referred to as Ganapati) is one of the most well-known and venerated representations of God. He is the first son of Shiva and Parvati, and the 'consort' of Buddhi (also called Riddhi) and Siddhi. 'Ga' symbolizes Buddhi (intellect) and 'Na' symbolizes Vidnyana (wisdom). Ganesha is worshipped as a remover of obstacles, though traditionally he also places obstacles in the path of those who need to be checked. Hence, he is often worshipped by the people before they begin anything new. Ganesha is thus considered the master of intellect and wisdom. He is depicted as a big-bellied, yellow or red god with four arms and the head of a one- tusked elephant, riding on, or attended to by, a mouse.
Ganapathyhomam, mahaganapathyhomam, appammoodal, modhakam, muzhukapp, karukahomam, karukamala and ashtadravyamahahomam are the main poojas in the temple.

Nagas are mentioned in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism texts and they are considered as divine deities and reside in the Patala Loka. They contain great powers, and can take any form at any time. They are also related with gods and goddess like Nagathamman, Nagalingeswarar and Ananta Padmanabha swamy etc. Among the Nagas, Adisesha had become a divine serpent bed of Lord Vishnu, and Vasuki had become the ornament and was adorned by Lord Shiva in his neck, and Lord Vinayaka also used to wear a divine naga as an ornament in his stomach.
Apart from this, Yogishwara Murthy, who is the originator of all these, is conceived and worshiped daily with a lamp.
